What SceneProbe is

SceneProbe is an editorial site about free-to-play games published on Google Play. Everything written here is the view of the desk: notes on how a game presents itself, what its opening screen shows and how long a session tends to run. Nothing on the site is advice, a guarantee of quality, or a statement made on behalf of anyone else.

No affiliation

SceneProbe is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the studios whose titles appear in an issue. Game titles, icons, screenshots and studio names are the property of their respective owners and are shown here for identification and comment. The wording, arrangement and design of these pages belong to SceneProbe.

How the site is run

The site sells nothing and shows no advertising. No fee is charged for a place in an issue and no arrangement sits behind any link to Google Play. Titles are chosen by the desk, and a request to be covered carries no weight over the selection. The desk is run on the resources of the people who write it.

Links to Google Play

Each card links to the game’s own page on Google Play. That destination is outside our control and is governed by Google’s own terms and policies, which you should read there. Following a link is entirely your decision.

Accuracy

Star figures, genres and store details are read at the time an issue is written and are reproduced as found. Store pages change: a title may be updated, renamed or removed after publication. The site is offered as it stands, without any warranty that its contents remain current or complete, and to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for a decision taken on the basis of a note published here. If you spot something out of date, write to the desk.

Use of the material

You are welcome to read, print and quote from these pages with attribution and a link. Systematic copying, republication of whole texts, or automated harvesting of the site is not permitted. Rights in the game images shown here remain with their owners; a rights holder who wants an image removed should write to the desk and it will be taken down.

Consumer information

Because SceneProbe sells nothing and takes no orders, no consumer contract arises between you and this site. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and other Irish consumer legislation are unaffected. General consumer guidance in Ireland is available from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the use of this site.
